the grand canyon II

if you look very closely at the bottom of the canyon, you can see the colorado river

there was a winter storm that followed us through all the 4 corner states. from colorado, to new mexico, to arizona, and to utah... the storm just kept following.

the ranger at the grand canyon national park said.. "you guys came on the most rarest of days."

at first, we didn't feel so lucky. we got to the canyon and all we could see was fog. there was a 5 minute window where all the fog cleared up and i snapped these photos.

i guess we were lucky. it's not often that you get to see a site like this.. especially the grand canyon covered in snow.
